'SUBNAUTICA 100 DAYS':
Design social media ads to announce aCookieGod’s new adventure as he steps into a different genre on his Minecraft-focused streaming channel. He requested a poster with a cinematic, Avengers-style dynamic composition that also evokes an underwater atmosphere.
'I built the creaking':
To promote his upcoming video featuring the giant Minecraft character “Creaking,” aCookieGod requested a design that emphasizes the eerie and unsettling nature of the character.
'SUBNAUTICA 100 DAYS':
To convey a sense of dynamic movement, I grouped multiple characters with splash effects, aiming to capture the moment each one bursts out with energy. Additionally, to visually merge the two worlds—Minecraft’s blocky aesthetic and Subnautica’s immersive, dramatic visuals—I proposed adding a realistic scuba helmet. This helmet played a key role in creating lifelike underwater lighting and shadows throughout the piece.
'I built the creaking':
To amplify the character’s creepy vibe, I drew inspiration from a foggy, dark forest, reflecting Creaking’s connection to trees and its typical forest habitat. I also used a slightly low-angle perspective to emphasize the character’s towering, intimidating presence.
To create the poster ads, I began by playing the actual game to better understand its aesthetic and brand identity. For the Subnautica poster, I researched a wide range of in-game characters and experimented with different compositions by adjusting the angles of their 3D models. To achieve a natural underwater atmosphere, I paid close attention to lighting direction and shadow placement.
For the Creaking ads, I explored multiple visual approaches—refining the composition, background, and visual effects—to ensure the final design aligned with the client’s vision.
